Edit or Delete a Contact

Within Matrix one can make edits to contacts or even delete old contacts that are no longer needed. 


To delete a contact, one will need to access the contact list. From the Menu Bar, move your mouse over the Lists menu, and then select Contacts. This will display a list of contacts from within the system.


You have the ability to delete a contact directly from the Contacts list.


  1. Move your mouse over the contact that you wish to delete. A gear icon appears.
  2. Click the gear icon, and select Delete from the menu. A confirmation dialog box appears.
  3. Click the Delete button.

Note:  Be aware once you delete a Contact it is permanently removed along with their historical data and will not be able to be restored.


To update a contact, you will need to have clicked on a contact name, either from the search box in the Menu Bar or clicked on the name from the contact list.


When a contact’s profile page is in view you have the ability to edit the details, including the address and social media links.


  1. Click the Edit the Contact button next to the contact’s name.
  2. Update the information, as necessary, within the edit dialog and then click the Save button.
