Add an Account from Account List

You can add an account directly from the Account List. To view a list of your accounts, from the Menu Bar, move your mouse over the Lists menu and select AccountsTo start adding a New Account press the + button next to Accounts. The following pop-up screen that appears will depend on your settings. 

Be aware that you may have the ability to create a Lead Account, Prospect Account, or both. It is also possible that you will not have access to perform either of these functions. These settings are determined by your organization. If you have a question about your access levels, please see your manager. 

If you have access to only create Lead accounts, please review the following steps:
  1. Click the Add an Account button indicated as the plus sign. The Add a Lead dialog box displays.
  2. Complete the Name field, this is required and is denoted by a red star.
  3. Select at least one Outlet(s), this is required and is denoted by a red star.
  4. Complete the optional fields, as necessary. Note: In order for you to submit the Lead for approval, one of the pieces of information that needs to be present on the account’s profile is the address. If you do not know the address when you first add the account, you may skip the fields. However, you will need to add it, prior to submitting it.
  5. Click the Save button and the Account Profile page now displays.
  6. Looking at the Account Profile, enter a Contact Name and Schedule an Activity.
  7. Select your Manager's Name from the drop down list
  8. Submit the Lead Account.


If you have access to only create Prospect accounts, please review the following steps:
  1. Click the Add an Account button indicated as the plus sign. The Add a Lead dialog box displays.
  2. Complete the Name field, this is required and is denoted by a red star.
  3. Select the Outlet(s) you want associated with the Account. In the Available Outlets area, to add a certain Outlet, click the green arrow preceding the outlet.  The Outlet will now appear in the Selected Outlets area. You must affiliate the account with at least one Outlet.
  4. Complete the optional fields, as necessary.
  5. Click the Save button and the Account Profile page now displays.

If you have access to create both types of accounts, Prospects and Leads, when you click on the Add an Account button indicated as a plus sign, you will have the option to add either a Prospect account or a Lead account. Click the type of Account that you want to add and follow the same instructions for your selection as above.
